What it'll look like...

...to have two!
These are from last week's playdate with J and her sweet pea, Will. J just sent these to me today. I love the B & W & love it even more that my arms are capable of holding and nurturing two babies.
I've hit a little bit of an emotional roadblock this week, which I feel is the hormones coursing their way through my body. My blood supply has increased by 50%, and the volume of my uterus has grown by 500-1,000 times! No wonder I am tired. What an amazing journey.

And while this may sound bad, I'm grieving that this phase of our lives is nearly over. The one where it's just Wilder. The one that we thought/think is hard sometimes, is about to get harder (but better, too!). Thankfully, Wilder's not going anywhere! And we are giving him a new friend/playmate to be proud of. While we can't predict how we'll find our new normal, we can rely on God's promise that He works for our good.

Blessings to all the mommies today; you are doing a superb job. A+ and a sticker for you!

I had lots of tears those final weeks about the guilt that I was rocking mason's world so entirely. I just had to remember what a great gift we were giving him (not that he'll appreciate until much later) but still....it is emotional!!

...only holding your two will be easier because you will be minus one big tummy. :) Don't worry...Wilder will LOVE being a big brother!

Love your open thoughts. So much fun ahead you and glad to be your friend and get to be a part of it!

Looks like you were made to do it! I understand how you feel about Wilder as far as worried about changing everything for him. Michael and I were going to try for another in July, and we have decided not to till July 2011 because we feel guilty for taking this time from him. I doubt that feeling will ever go away. I just know Wilder will love his baby! I heard him at the playdate pointing at babies and saying "baby!" He's totally ready and excited too I think! Many blessings to you and your family!

Great pictures, the b/w just makes it so nostalgic and homey. You're so adorable. You look perfect with two little ones in your arms.
I get the feeling that once baby #2 comes along, the days of 'just Wilder' will easily fade into joy filled days of 'Wilder + [insert name here]'.
Remember when it was 'just Shawn & Mindy'? It's so much better now, right? Something to look back on with a smile, but know that life is immensely more awesome with each passing day.

Have a great day, gorgeous.

p.s. i LOVE the dresser your Tv is on. I've been eyeing one out here on Craigslist (the exact same one), but it's $500. Debating if its worth that...
