Oh the Happenings! Including a Birthday and God Breaking My Heart

Happy Tuesday, everyone! It's almost 1am and this night owl is still pluggin' away on her day.

We have had so many amazing, wonderful things happening that I can't wait to talk about!

Next, I just have to share about my weekend.

Friday evening we hosted a small BBQ. It warms my soul to have friends over to enjoy our large covered patio.

Later that evening I met with my "boss lady friend" about my room at the boutique. There will be some changes there I can share about later. All I can say is that I work at the best little shop ever, and the women I work with love the Lord and serving Him.

Saturday I attended a women's event hosted by a church in a nearby town.

I had been asking God to break my heart in a way that needed to happen. In a way that made me truly repentant and sorrowful for recent disobedience to Him.

Well, He did it! That moment, cultivated by an astounding spiritual speaker, will go down as one of the most meaningful, profound spiritual moments in my life's journey. That is one or several posts in and of itself.

All that to say that though I am unworthy, I accept the blood of Jesus Christ over my sins. I accept that when God looks at me, He sees a new creation, washed white as snow. That is liberating!

Saturday evening through Sunday we celebrated Wilder's FOURTH birthday with family. I handled this milestone fairly well. I feel so blessed for every day, every moment that I have with our son. What a gift!

Then today, I hosted Wilder's "friend" party.

I think we will take it easy the rest of the week!
